Meet Jyoti Sharma

Five years in public hospital nursing.
A personal commitment to community care.

For Jyoti, nursing has never been only a job. During five years working as a Registered Nurse in Melbourne’s public hospital system—including acute general medicine and respiratory care—she has supported people through vulnerable, uncertain and life-changing moments.

Those experiences taught her that excellent care begins with listening. She founded ALTRUCARE to bring professional responsibility, calm communication and respect for dignity into community support—while giving each person more choice, time and control in everyday life.

“People may not always remember what you did, but they will remember whether they felt heard, respected and comfortable in your care.” — Jyoti Sharma
